Different enough from Shen Kee (a similar Chinese bakery) that you should give a try. Very fresh fare throughout the day. Hot dog bun and Sesame bun are stand-outs. Good coffee.

I like the self-service format of these Asian bakeries. I pick up whatever I can see and head to the cashier. No need to speak the names of any unusual items. Anyone, whether you speak Cantonese Chinese or not, can shop and enjoy the savory and lightly sweet pastries here without much stress, except for the occasional pushy grandma who must cut you in line.

Asian style self-service service bakery where you grab a tray and tongs and choose your own pastries, tarts, rolls, and cookies. There are Asian-style western sweets including tiramisu, parfaits, mango mousse and strawberry shortcake. It's a sunlit corner store with many shelves and compartments populated by mysterious delights, especially pork buns, and red and black bean treats. By western standards, not particularly healthy ingredients. The overall palette of flavors, and ingredients are also not what westerners are accustomed to. The limited seating is often occupied by senior citizens to whom you should graciously relinquish your chair. Coffee and tea available. Reasonable prices.

New renovations are looking great and the flow of operations has improved. Milk tea is still solid and I'd recommend the breakfast bun with ham and egg or the pineapple bun. Fairly priced and a real deal if you are comparing to the fancy coffee roast spots.

Excelent quality of pastries and rich diversity of offers. Very neat place with great prices. I like the packaging and design investment that the owner made on the brand. 👍

It’s best to come here early in the morning when the goods are freshly baked and they’re still putting it on the displays coming from their oven. I’ve ordered their hot dog bun, green tea cake, and some other pastries and they all taste pretty delicious!

To me asian bakeries are nearly identical. FWFB is a chinese bakery for you to grab a tray and tong then get whatever you want. You'll need to time yourself as to when to go. Go too early and you won't see favorite item as it'll be in oven. Come late and it might be sold out with no additional extras for that particular item and they won't make it again until following day. I would say a safe time is 7:45am-2pm for freshest and best selection.

Very fresh but the crowds can be a bit pushy (physically). There's not much law and order when it comes to lines and the cashiers don't care either. But if you want good tasting cheap buns, then it's worth biting your tongue and let the rude people go first. Be weary though as self serve pastry is still new to people who are use to yelling at the cashier for the buns they want; you will get people putting used tongs back on the rack or a lady will reach in and poke the buns with her finger.Their bread and bun selections are fresh; in particular I like the almond croissant. One bite into it and you get a strong whiff of almond on a flaky pastry. Compare to other places at under $2.00 each it's a bargain.

Typical Chinese bakery with diy tray and tong method. Workers speaks some english, but just the basics. A few tables and a restroom located sums it up. Morning baked items is what's popular here. However, its also late coming out. They don't have everything together by opening time. Best to be in around 7:45 to 8:30am for the freshest. Special cake order must be placed by noon for following day. BTW, cash only.

They have alot of different style of bread 8t depend the flavor u like.

In the same style as 85C: good buns at very good prices. The moon cake is not bad (only taste the mix nuts) but it is not worth the $ 7.50!

Everything here is fresh and homemade and I love anything that they make is a mango dessert

Excellent bakery. The cake are not too sweet so perfect for elderly and adults. You can also pre order birthday cakes by calling them at least 3 days in advance and then pick it up. They close pretty late like around 6:30pm everyday.
